23 April 2010 ! at 10:12 PM ! I supposed, after such a long hiatus, I should come back to blogging. It's been quite a ride, the past 2 weeks :D But I must say, God has indeed been good & faithful throughout, even though I am not. FOC was a great success! Thank you all to every single one of you who made this camp such a wonderful experience; be it the Excos, Station Masters, Group Leaders or even the Campers! Till today, I still can't believe it that we practically had close to 250 sign ups & campers. God has indeed been good :D Throughout the camp, to my greatest greatest greatest surprise, I didn't puke or lose my appetite to eat AT ALL! :D Really must thank God! HAHA. I was so ready to feel nauseous 24/7, but uh-uh, the feeling didn't come. Not once at all (: & other than the fatigue from the lack of rest & sleep, I was totally fine. No headaches, nothing :D It was also amazing to see how God has held back the rain on the whole of first day & during the amazing race on day 2! (: These were the parts whereby campers had to travel from station to play games & complete tasks. & although the dark clouds were looming ominously overhead from time to time, not once did a single drop of rain fall from the sky. It was only by late afternoon on day 2 that it began raining. By then, the only activity affected was Campfire Night! But God provides, & shows me that His will is best. Although many of us were disappointed that we couldn't have a real campfire, we had one in the atrium. & oh my, was the atmosphere just pure awesome! It was really good, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than expected. Everyone was just getting high & enjoying themselves, & all the dance performances were real good. :D I have no idea how Weiting & I got through the camp, with so little hours of sleep ( the last day being only 1.5hours D: ) but He has been so so so good. It was definitely by His grace & strength that I could go through each day facing so many people with smiles & laughters. Thank You God <3 AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M OFFICIALLY A YEAR THREE ALREADY!!! Time flies mann, it really does. I'm soooooooooooo not used to being a Year 3! But this week has been a real blessed week for me (: It's been peaceful, relatively stress-free & really nice. Although it seems as though many assignments are due soon ( in week 4, 55%! D: ), but I thank God for His peace which has been guarding my heart & mind in Christ Jesus (: It was really good, just seeing, chatting & catching up with all my classmates once again. I'm really thankful for this class, how most of us have grown closer with one another :DDD & I'm really glad that I've allowed God to take away my selfishness & let His love reign as I make choices that I know will be pleasing to Him :D DANCE4FUN WAS GREAT (: The HMS performance I mean! HAHAHA. A great job well done to all the dancers & especially the supporters who came for the actual thing & for the numerous rehearsals! :D I could see the HMS spirit burning brightly! :D & of course, a very special thank you to Firdaus & his partner, Nat, for cherographing & leading the dance! :D HMS FTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! <3 Today was really GREAT HAHAHA!!! Daphne lee, Yiting & I were supposed to go to amk to lunch & sing K. In the end, being real lazy to travel, we headed to the clementi's branch instead. We had lunch, I had fishball noodles :D After which, we somehow managed to while away 1.5 hours wandering & exploring clementi area. HAHAHA. & then we met Jieling at another coffeeshop & waited for her to have lunch. While waiting, the 3 of us ordered a bowl of fishball soup <3<3<3! IT'S ONE OF THE BEST FISHBALLS EVER!!! The 3 of us couldn't get enough of it from the first bowl, & we bought a 2nd bowl, a bigger one! HAHAHA. & the uncle gave us extra to thank us for our support. SUPER NICE LAH! :D Sang K for a few hours after that! Yvonne joined us too :D HAHA. The theme of today's singing session was "HAPPY LOVE SONGS" HAHAHA. 'Cause love was in the air for somebody mah. HAHAHA. Dinner after K! HAHAHA. We went back to the same coffeeshop & had the shiokest dinner ever. Sambal stingray <3 & ( Daphne & Yiting had sotongs too D: ) another bowl of fishball soup!!! :DDD <333! HAHAHA. SERIOUSLY SHIOK. & the sambal stingray was super nice too! HAHAHA. It was a super good dinner! :D THANK YOU GOD FOR GIVING ME SUCH A RELAXING, FUN & AWESOME DAY! :D Off to do highquest! I must be more regular in doing it! <3 <3, CASS. |
