23 November 2009 ! at 2:14 PM ! Church in the morning & then HQ. Thank God for a successful sharing & meeting up for HQ every week so far! :D Met Lyana in the late afternoon to just shop around town before we went to redhill MRT to wait for Germ. It was nice just catching up; sharing about life with Lyana, just the two of us at Redhill. Germ finally came (: & we bus-ed down to somewhere quiet. They blindfolded me in the bus! & it was DID in real life! They linked my arms & walked me down to streets, cross roads, making me guess where we were. Haha. Well, we finally arrived at this place where I heard some laughters, a relatively soothing background. There was some light music, & they told me we were near a pub. Interesting eh. Apparently we had to wait for our turn. We waited for quite a while, & finally! They started to lead me to a short platform of stairs. I then had to sit on a weird seat, and then a person started strapping me! I was shocked, even though I actually guessed where we were already but they refused to tell me. So I asked. Me: Where are we? Why must strap?!?! Person: Oh we're going for a boat tour, you don't know? Me: HUH WHAT BOAT TOUR?! Person: Hippo boat tour! Shock of my life!!! I was seriously trying to feel for the breeze & feel for water splashes. & hear for water & motor sounds. Seriouslyyy!!! Eventually they took off the blind folds. & I found myself staring back at a crowd of people, & Germ on my right & Lyana on my left. & as I blinked to get my eyes adjusted to the scene, the person who bluffed me pointed to somewhere in the middle & said, "The camera's in the middle!" Oh & I saw the spherical thing & YES GUESS WHERE WERE WE!!! SINGAPORE'S G-MAXXX!!!! YES HAHAHA OH MY GOODNESS LAH I WAS SO SO SO EXCITED!!! But germ was nottt! She was screaming like mad before the thing even took off! HAHAHA. But the scene from up in the sky was beautiful! :D &&& they sang me a birthday song up there. HAHA. Thank you loves! Ohohoh. & when I came down, it was only then that I realised the camera was right in front of me, 'cause I was in the center! D: HAHA. But it was super fun nonetheless. & sitting it with 2 besties made it all the more EXCITING & MEMORABLE! <333! Thank you two, for making my 18th really sweet & memorable, so exciting & it was so ex! I feel the pinch for you two :/// & I'm really really really thankful that I've two awesome friends whom I wouldn't trade for anybody else in the world! Thank you two, for remembering my birthday, for planning the surprise, for taking the time & effort & wearing a dress with me & for everything everything. Not just this birthday surprise (: Thank you two, for being there for me, for encouraging me when I was down, for giving me hugs & shoulders to lean & cry on, for all the random love sms-es & the late night phone calls from time to time, & simply, just for all the love you've showered upon me.
