28 February 2009 ! at 2:07 AM ! Monday Okay, Monday was terrible as I overslept & ended up meeting Shurong at Changi Airport. We didn't catch any of our planned movies nor did we manage to shop at all. I met up with her at Terminal 3 TCC & we sat there sipping coffee as we were both super engrossed in our books. I was reading Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult while she was reading Eclipse by Stephanie Meyers. Haha, I was hungry so I ordered a "tofu with minced beef baked with mozzeralla cheese over it"! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! ;D I was wondering what an unique dish, I must try it! Thank God so much that it turned out to be delectable. Otherwise I would have just wasted my money (it was expensive you know!)! We picked her mum up & continue reading through the night. Okay I driffed off to play Neopets eventually. Haha but I read too! Spent the night at her place again! Haha, the both of us have been spending so much time together! ;D Tuesday I was supposed to go home that night but apparently I didn't. We started baking our cheescake late, so we ended late as well. As a result, I couldn't go home ): Well, we baked a "Vanilla Bean Cheesecake" for my mum's birthday! ;D Cool right! & it turned out delicious too! It was expensive though ): Well, I had fun, it was my first time baking a cheescake! ;D Wednesday We woke up a little late & thus couldn't go gyming. We had to reach my home after 12. So after eating the famous fishball noodles in JB (It was quite okay), we crossed the customs and popped by Popular to collect "Breaking Dawn" for Shurong. Then we rushed to school to do teenz game publicity & we rushed back home. We melted chocolate & made chocolate drizzle in my house! ;D & we used it to decorate the cake! Shurong's seriously a good baker! Then we rushed to Jack's Place to get the cake there before my mum arrived & we ended up reading in the library. Haha. Seriously man. We had a great time at Jack's Place, my sisters & I were bantering like mad. Sam & I laughed like mad, I bet the entire restuarant could hear us! Hahaha! & I added salt into Sam's iced water & she nearly drank it! Ah wells, nearly only. But it was a night to be remembered, the fun and joy we had was just the ultimate. The good-natured teasing to and fro the tables was defintely something I missed most doing with my family. (: Ooh! We had the birthday celebration for my mum at Jack's Place, the people presented her with our cake! :D The waitress let slipped that there was a cake at the counter & we hastily said it wasn't ours. My heart dropped the moment she said that! Haha, but thank God my mum didn't suspect anything. Anyway, we had an ultra big meal at Jack's Place. It was scrumptious of course. We had to donate half of our cheesecake to the Jack's Place staff! ): I was a little sad as I wanted to keep my creation! But ah wells. Giving is better than receiving, Cassandra! ;D Well, after paying, my mum stayed back to chat with the Jack's Place manager. We grabbed hold of that opportunity to rush & get the ice cream cake that my dad had asked me to get! Hahaha! So many cakes! Ah. But it took the Swensen's people so long just to pack it. -.- By then, we had to pretend and say we want to loiter around the DVD shop which was next door. She had a SUPER SURPRISED look on her face when the Swensen's waitress walked up to us & handed us the cake! HAHAHA! My dad then drove all of us home & we attempted to eat part of the ice cream cake. Shurong then stayed over at my place. Thursday Shurong & I were late in meeting Liansie ))): Sorry Liansie! Well, we met her & Tammie at Novena to eat ice cream! What a fattening week! Anyway, we went to this newly opened ice cream parlor Udders! I love the ice cream! A little expensive though, like Ben's & Jerry's. But it was pretty good. I picked Rum Rum Rasin & ChocMarsh! <3 Haha I absolutely love rum! Rum rum rasin had a double dosage of rum & it was delicious! ChocMarsh was cool too, sweetly delightful! Haha, I had mine to come with a wafer & so there was the delicious chocolate drizzle that I love so much! Haha. We played Taboo while eating & it was fun. Took quite a number of pictures & we doodled on the wall (It was allowed!) with the colourful markers provided. We then shopped around Novena for a little while & Liansie had to go quite soon. After she left, Shurong complained that she was hungry already - THAT PIG! Hahaha so we went to some bakery where she bought a pasta salad, soup & drink. Thanks to her, I got tempted & started feeling hungry, thus buying a sandwich, soup & drink set. The sandwich was good! It was some cheese gourmet sandwich & that totally got me happy! ;D I love cheese! Anyway, after eating, Shurong & Tammie insisted on visiting the supermarket. -.- Who visits supermarket for fun! But yeah well, I gave in & tagged along. I had to leave pretty soon though 'cause I was due at Tanah Merah MRT at 5 for HMSS Exco meeting. Oh, did I mention I forgot my phone? Yeah well, I had to keep a lookout for people who might appear familiar. Thank God I spotted Manhong! Or, Man jie as they call her. Haha. Anyway, travelled to Changi Airport to meet the rest. I made really good friends with Sara, Chu Hui & Darren! Other than Darren, the three of us were absolutely passionate about books. Not any books, mind you, but GOOD BOOKS. Anyway, you could say it was on a moment of impulse, you could say idealistic, but you could also say we were daring. We decided there & then to set up a new CCA - NP BOOK CLUB! Okay, it doesn't sound really appealing I know. But it's gonna be for people who really treasure & love books (: Like us. Well, we kinda forced Darren into it too. Haha. Hung around until about 9 then I went home with a few of the HMSS Exco people. Okay. I should probably stop here. I'm itching to get back to my book! Haha. I'm currently reading my comic series over again - Mirmo Zibang! :D Cute you know! <3, CASS. |
