17 December 2006 ! at 7:10 PM ! Anyway I've been camping, first at guide camp, then to church camp! I really want to thank God for all the strength He's provided me with, especially since how church camp was just right after guide camp! Sadly I missed the first day of church camp but I guess God had a purpose for not letting my mummy allow me to go on the first day - that was I needed the rest. After guide camp, I went home and slept for like, 15 hours straight! Woah, thank God so much for that period of sleep! Anyway, I thank God that through church camp I now know a lot more people than before and people whom I didn't know well, I now know them better (: I also want to thank Him for all that He's done for us, all that he's doing for us, and all that He's gonna do for us in future! Camp was a great blessing to me, it was stress free and it was so fun! Thank God for the sermons and messages, they spoke deeply to me and I thank God especially for the last sermon on thursday night, it was a life changing sermon for many of us (: Thank God for hearts touched, lives changed! Yay I love the worships and the fellowship times we had! xD I miss church camp! ): I miss AUTUMN and all the screaming we did! I miss the cheering and all the high-ness I feel all day long during camp! And the rush to eat, rush to shower, rush to prepare powerpoints, rush to set up the projector, rush to play games, rush to have fun, rush to listen to God's words and worship Him! If I could, I would want to camp all year round! But I guess camp's just a time for us to learn more about God and how He can work and make a difference in our lives! It's really what we do after camp that matters, whether we bother to apply what we've learnt to our lives after camp, and where God's place in our lives is even after camp when all the high-ness isn't there anymore. Thank God that I want to commit my live to Him and how I just want to stick with this decision, and thank Him that He has given me the Holy Spirit and now He, the Holy Spirit, is the Lord and Leader of my life. I want to surrender my all to Him and Him alone! :D Anyway, I'm now listening to Jingle Bells! Haha, it reminds me of camp wednesday night I think (: I was being execptionally high with my big jacket! Then I was high-ing everywhere and somehow through that night i got to know christinekhaw (: Haha we were both high and she became my christmas tree on that night and I her teddy bear! And we were supposed to go christmas caroling the next morning and wake everybody up by singing into the loud hailer but well we didn't in the end, haha thank God we didn't. But from then onwards we became friends! Haha and through the camp I also got to know xiuying weijie weiwen weiming jonathanyuan jessicayuan justin kate and many more other teens! I'm glad that through this camp I've bonded alot more with many other people! Haha thank God also that rachel could come for camp and she's coming for my church's activities more often, I hope she'll be able to have a fire for God! Haha thinking about all the fun times I've had in camp and even during the weekly church meetings makes me very happy (: Thank God so much for blessing me with so much happiness and support in the fellow siblings He's given to me since I've come to know Him one year ago (: Thank God so much for bringing me to this church, to this family of He's and for accepting me with all my flaws and sins! Had a combined tribe outing with joshua's tribe on friday to play games in church! Played alot of chess and reversi and had fun with hula hoops and a lit of other games! Rachel brought her friend Jeffery but they both just sat at one side and didn't really play much. Haha after that there was a slideshow on the many pictures taken during camp, the games played and the worship times and sermons! Really, a picture paints a thousand words. Longings of turning back time and going back to the times of fun during camp was stirred up deeply within me. But I guess that's just how life is, we all got to move on but those memories and lessons God's given to us will be stored within us forever and ever! :D Then yesterday went to east coast park to have fun! Haha played captain's ball and went dipping feet into the sea and walked around east coast barefooted and nearly burnt my feet! The roads there are so hot! Haha then some of us chilled out in BK and I did a bit of bio there. Then I decided to go cycling with michelle and jonc! Haha after a few minutes of screaming, I finally managed to master cycling! Although a little unstable and I keep going sideways, I'm much better now already! I'm trying my best not to scream though whenever got people cycle or walk into the middle of my path! The next thing I want to master is rollerskating! Hopefully it'll be easier since I can sort of ice skate now already! And one day when I have enough money, I want to learn how to swim and dive too! Then in future can become marine biologist! :D Haha anyway, back to topic. After that I went to island creamery with jiaxin and michelle and we ate ice cream there! Oh my goodness, I just love the ReversO ice cream there!!! It's super nice to eat! Haha and went to church and played with christina and christine and talked to maja! Oh oh oh! Teresa hasn't got enough of 'spring'rolls! She kept wanting to eat the springrolls for the little kids at the little kids' party! Then in the end me her and henrietta stalked Chai and Matt Ee to find out where Caleb was cuz we wanted to bring him springrolls! And they said they knew where he was! But they wanted to eat our springrolls and bluff us that where they were going, girls and springrolls cannot go! What rubbish lah! Caleb was at serene centre lor! Haha it was so funny and then we went to visit Cherrie who was working there and then we borrowed a buck from her cuz we wanted to buy yogurt and Ter showed us how tasty yogurt and meji biscuit could be! So nice leh!!! And its healthy somemore! :D Next time I can eat like that! Haha watched the Christmas musical for some time and sat around and chatted with people. Then I went off le with my mum and sisters (: Anyway I can't wait for tuesday! Will be going out with my sisters and charm and rachel to a SECRET PLACE then to Bible study! Yay! :D But tomorrow there's guides dance practice from 8.30 to 5 leh! D: So long, and then the dance is 7 mins! I think I'm gonna die dancing that and plus still need to coordinate running man and the back thingy. :/ Well, I'll be going then! Blog next time, this is a super long post already! :D <3, CASS. |
